About the Studio

Situated in the village of Port Appin, Argyll, the studio enjoys views across Loch Linnhe to the island of Lismore, the Morvern peninsula and the mountains of Mull.

Port Appin Studio Exterior

The buildings, formerly a pottery, have been extensively altered to accommodate a large studio space and decks on the upper flooor to enjoy the views of both the busy Port Appin Pier to the front, and the secluded garden with a woodland and cliff face backdrop at the rear.

Opening Times

The Studio is open by appointment only except for one week in June when it is open to the public.

Commissions

Commissions are welcomed. Commissioning a work may be to commemorate a special occasion, an anniversary, a wedding, a retirement, a birthday, a new home or for a particular architectural location. The shared experience, dealing directly with the artist, can be more rewarding and personal than buying ready made items from a gallery or exhibition.

Buy Direct

Buy direct from the artists and save on gallery commission (usually 40-60%). Paintings, giclée prints and textile artworks are available for sale at the studio by appointment, by phone or e-mail, or via our online shop.
